“Prostistution Should Remain Illegal”

            According to wikipedia.org/wiki/Prostitution, “Prostitution is the act of performing sexual activity in exchange for money. The legal status of prostitution varies greatly between different jurisdictions, from being punishable by death to being completely legal.”  I believe legalizing such an action, would be putting out a message to all children that sex is not wrong at any age.  Many would see adults, possibly even their parents going out and selling their bodies and of course they would feel that these actions were acceptable.  They may see excessive amounts of money come rolling in, and may feel that in doing so, they would be able to receive that income as well.  From a lack of knowledge on the sexual doings, I forsee a dramatic increase in teen pregnancy.  Yes, I understand that we are arguing the point of adult prostitution, but in saying that ages 18 and up are able to be prostitutes, then in no time at all, a bill will also be passed that younger and younger individuals will be able to do so.  Does this also state that if a prostitute is raped, that purely it is a theft of her services and shouldn’t be charged as rape?  I believe that the illegality of prostitution should remain to better to future for everyone.  

     In my class, each group is to pick a debatable topic and are told to argue their beliefs or perhaps just argue their case if they so happen to not believe in the side they have taken.  I have taken the liberty of going about my ways on my own and with an apponent that believes prostitution should be legalized I shall proclaim my case protesting that prostitution is wrong.  Prostitution is no the way to go, not only in religious moral ways, but also in proper health related ways as well.
