“Final Reflection”
The class of 1101 College English, pushed me to try my hardest and to make everything as correct as possible and as neat and organized as possible. It left me with an impression that college really is quite different than normal high school classes. The rigor is up and the mood was more serious since things were done with more of a purpose than just doing it for a grade.
I feel that there really isn’t much to change about the class. Everyone knew what was expected of them, but it did worry me that the last and final paper was worth such a major portion of my overall grade.
I believe high school really doesn’t prepare you enough for college classes. I went into class each day knowing the difficulty had jumped from simple hand out papers to complex eassays. Its not necessarily something that needs to be changed about the class, but this is something that I feel needs to be changed about high school classses in general.
